The upper is constructed in a smooth black synthetic nubuck material with the Jordan 5’s standard clear plastic mesh window on each side at the midfoot and on the tongue. The top of the tongue is constructed in black fabric with a grey embroidered Jumpman logo. Jordan Brand contrasts the shoe’s predominately black upper with bright white on the inner lining and midsole.
